My New Studio Space In Long Island City by apryl miller

In January I moved my studio space from Chelsea to Long Island City. I am at the second subway stop, (Hunters Point), from Grand Central on the 7 train. There is plenty of room for my fabrics, sewing machine, paints, canvases and all the little stuff I work with.  Come and visit me and we can spend the whole day making art together.

Artists Talk Together: Where Does Our Creativity Come From? by apryl miller

As a creative person, do you feel 'Different' from others? You are invited to participate in an open forum on creativity, at my studio in LIC. I have often wondered why so many artists say they feel 'different', myself included. Is it that which fuels our creative life? If that were to dissipate, would our art change, would we still make art? I'm interested in exploring this topic with other creative people. I think it's an important discussion for our community and one that isn't often addressed . This is a casual, communal, BYOWine event. I'll be supplying a few bottles of wine.   Email me for reservations and studio address. I hope you can attend.  Saturday, February 22, 3:00-5:00
